Anna Bonewitz (University of York)
Anna Bonewitz’s PhD thesis, Fashion Across Borders and Seas, investigates women's networks and the circulation of fashion ideas through print culture during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. She is particularly interested in women as fashion leaders, and their use of dress to project other aspects of identity.
