Rebecca Gee (Ferens Art Gallery)
Becky Gee is currently Curator of Fine Art at York Art Gallery. She has previously worked at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle and the Ferens Art Gallery in Hull. She is mainly interested in women artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. In 2018 she curated the exhibition Louisa Hodgson : A New Perspective at Hatton Gallery. Her current research focuses on overlooked 20th century female artists linked to the North East of England including Louisa Hodgson (1905 – 1980) and Ruth Adams (1883 – 1949).
